I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but the Church does not really care what you say your “sexuality” is, she cares more about your actions.

The sexual act is to be uniative and procreative, which is not possible in same-sex sex.

Sex is also restricted to married couples. Having sex outside of marriage, whether an opposite sex couple or a same sex couple is a sin. It’s all about the “action”, not your inclination.

This is a great answer. I’d only clarify that same-sex “marriages” are not valid in the eyes of the Church, thus sex within a same-sex “marriage” would still be sinful. Being attracted to members of your same sex is not sinful, it is just disordered.

“Disordered” not because of them!! But because of the wounds received by OTHERS!

Everyone is heterosexual, the rest is off limits experimentation.

And I like the quick answers! 😃
Hahahaha AGREED. 👍 I would also refer to the beginning of Genesis to back that up, when God created Adam and Eve, and it was good. 🙂

I am not bisexual I was just asking because one of my non catholic friends are and I was wondering the catholic idea on it

I don’t call myself bisexual, but I am attracted to both men and women. And I’m Catholic – moreover, I’m married and have a bunch of kids.

So no worries.

Some Catholics don’t understand why people would call themselves bisexual, but I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Being bisexual is certainly no obstacle to being in the Church.

Sins like those associated with the character, Captain Jack Harkness, are abominable to the Lord and cry out to heaven for justice. At the same time, so do many other sins. The Church teaches that we are all called to fidelity in our actions. I, as a man married to my beloved spouse, my sons and daughters as singles discerning a vocation, those who are already devoted to their particular religious vocations, et al.
