I sometimes run across the phrase “being Church.” Often, it is used within a sentence.

What does the phrase “being Church” mean to you??

Can you use it in a sentence? I don’t recall ever hearing the phrase, but maybe in context I’d recognize it.
 
Strikes me as TrendyTalk. I wonder if that’s what the pope said and how accurate the translation is. Maybe it’s a more natural phrase in other languages, but in English it definitely sounds gimicky.
 
It means living the gospel…we are the body of Christ…we are the Church…
