in my opinion it is not a sin
That is common. Many sinners (myself included) would like to not think what we do is a sin.
I guess you need to clarify what you mean by lifestyle.
In the interest of honesty:
Do you think homosexual acts are sinful?
Do you think living with a homosexual partner is sinful?

The answer that the Church gives is absolutely contingent on your answer.

Will you have the courage to tell us?

When you become Catholic you must be willing to follow Christ. Wherever that leads. Even if it leads up a hill to a Cross. You MUST accept that which is de fide. You don’t have to understand or like it but you must be obedient to it otherwise why be Catholic? For the doughnuts after Mass?
The one True Church offers salvation. It offers something that no other Church has: Confession and forgiveness of sins. But you must be willing to receive this or your wandering soul will never find peace.

Every analogy is “false” why do you disagree with this one?
There just aren’t enough points of similarities between homosexuality, adultery, murder and theft to make a logical analogy, for one homosexuality per se is not an action it is a name for a particular grouping of concupiscential desires.

This is a good point. Pretty much any and all sex outside the Marriage Covenant is considered sinful. I don’t think there are degrees except those made up by people that are simply intent on bashing people with SSA. What is the practical implication if we start purging anyone that has committed a sexual based sin (i.e. premarital sex, adultery, using birth control, etc.)? I would suggest that getting a good seat at mass would be easy.

As we are all sinners wouldn’t it be better if we cling together and in turn cling to the cross? Just saying.
So since we are all sinners, we should just be comfortable with our sin and not worry about it. Just sayin"

Ok but there are LOTS of things that are like that. Like I said, no analogy is perfect. That is why it is an analogy.
I like redheads, my wife is a brunet. Can I lust after them? Can I act on my preference? Do I define myself as a gingerlover for all the public to see?

Homosexuality is a disordered form of sexuality.

So is pediphilia, zoophillia, porn, and strait up adultery.

We cannot reconcile this with the faith. But we can reconcile it with something to overcome like any other inclination to sin we have.

That is a matter of taste not concupiscence.

I don’t understand what you are saying?
Could you clarify?
Is homosexuality different than every other sin?
Do you think a homosexual living out his homosexuality is sinful?
I feel like you and the OP are not entering an intellectually honest conversation but rather just commenting from the outside which is not helpful to anyone.

Perhaps you could put forth an acceptable analogy. Since you dont like mine.😉
