“may mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance” Jude 1:2
Please do help me I am at(if not in) despair or despondency as of now.

Yesterday, I had a college interview and while it went well I kinda embellished and wasn’t fully genuine. There are a few irrelevant details I inserted and then I simply blurted out answers. I didn’t come in with an intention to blatantly lie or be deceitful-I just meant to get a holistic advantage on my application(not the best student on paper). Now I am concerned with myself. Later I hastily and quite quickly emailed an admission and apology but now I felt that was insincere due to the quick(and incomplete) nature of it. I mean I didn’t do a rigorous examination but some thoughts then email.

I feel perturbed(like not dying of it but still)-and I am wondering if I should email another apology but that might be a bit scrupulous or irritating. That might clear my conscience but ambition and aspirations( I want to got to this school) are holding me back. That reparation might a bit much

I could go to confession and also I could talk to my school counselor.

Please pray for me.

Peace and love…

May God grant you peace.

If you have concerns for your behavior - you might seek the gift of Confession.

You have had your interview. You sent an e-mail to the school.

Its time to wait and see how your interview was accepted or declined by the college administration.

It is not appropriate, in my opinion, to once again contact them about the interview.

They will accept you or decline you based on your application and interview. Your nervousness and your scrupulosity probably have you ready to run to another way to calm your nerves - write another apology. That is probably not the best way to go.

Speaking with your school counselor may be a good idea to help you relax while waiting for this admission letter.

Speaking with a priest about being scrupulous can be helpful as well.

May God give you peace as you await your admission notice.
