I am currently at University studying to be a Nurse. My course doesn’t finish for another month but my landlord is asking me to leave because he wants to redecorate and despite the fact that he verbally agreed for me to be able to stay the extra month required he is now staying that I can’t. Please pray that I may find somewhere else to stay soon so that I will not be homeless.

Have you gone to the University to see if they know of rooms or they might be able to put you up in a dorm, if they have them?
 
Terribly sorry to hear about your trouble; I’ve had my own housing issues when I took up my current job and know exactly how hard they can be.

Karoline, I’m having housing issues right now, too, so I definitely understand your stress. Hoping (and praying) it all turns out well for you.

Thank you everyone. I’ve spoken to university and they have housing but its too expensive and they won’t change the price for me. Im waiting for the hospital to get back to me about staying in the hospital accommodation and I hope that works out. My land lord hasn’t changed his mind and is still asking me to leave despite my pleading and (to my shame) crying. I just can.t believe this is happening and Im so scared. Karoline.

They are trying to find me a room now as I don.t want to stay in mixed sex accommodation and they think they’ll have a single sex student bedroom in a 4 bed flat but I won’t know until Tuesday. Im so upset that this is happening, its making me ill 😦

Dear Karoline you have been placed under enormous stress and i am so sorry for this.It is understandable that the pressure of all this worry would make you ill.Try to trust in Our Lord
that He will guide you to find the way forward.You have my continued prayers.Praying for Tuesday to be good news!God blessxx

A PRAYER FOR HOMELESS
Dear Lord, Help all those without a home of their own this day. Guide them to a place where they will feel loved and wanted, cared for and appreciated.We pray for Karoline that she will get the accomodation she needs to complete her studies safely.

Lift them up when they are down. Dry their tears when they cry. Heal them when they are hurt. Should they fall, pick them up and hold them close to your heart.

Lord, you began life homeless. Mary and Joseph protected you on the journey into Egypt. Grant that today’s homeless find such loving and faithful protectors.

Bless, too, O Lord, those, who care for these homeless in your name. Amen
