Where I work( a facility for young teen mother )a chruch group came to have a prayer group, and teach bible study.

After wards the girls were asking for prayers. One of the leaders took a girl aside and started to pray, " And Father God, be with **** and help her to see your truth and let her know that she does not have to pray to a Pope or to any one else…" and more of that and she ended with , “In your name we pray.” The young teen said Amen and then made the sign of the cross. Only like a good Catholic would do. I smile and thought… God is Good… God is Great.

😃 😃 😃 👍 👍 👍

that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard in ages - both the prayer (as if we pray to a Pope!) and the Sign of the Cross

Keep an eye on that ‘leader’ and be ready to aid those she misleads with her misinformed views.

Maybe a general prayer that all come to know and recognize the whole truth would be useful also.

You’re right Thomas, but I think you missed the point.

OP was trying to say that the girl didn’t even realise the leader was telling her something bad, probably wasn’t influenced by it in the slightest because she still stuck to her Catholic way (sign of the cross) - because she was naive, the Prot’s attempt to have a go at her completely failed. It is quite funny (-:
