Ok so I’m a bit worried about being in the state of mortal sin, because a couple of weeks ago I committed a mortal sin, then did it again the next day. That same day I went to confession and confessed my sins. I am worried about not being contrite enough/at all. Also because I used going to confession as a sin.
Since then I have received communion 3 or 4 times and been to confession twice. I am worried that perhaps I wasn’t sorry for my sins. I’m always trying not to commit the same sins again.
Any suggestions/tips for what I should do regarding this? And how do you define being sorry? I know that it is not a feeling, but what is it then? An act? Trying to not do it again? Thanks in advance.
