I have found that being specific about certain regions of the being has a more direct and much better healing effect than simply praying to be healed of everything generally. For example when I pray to God that He heal my heart it has MUCH more of a healing effect and all the tension in my system eases. Previously I didn’t even know that the heart was an issue spiritually speaking but it sure is.
I guess what I’m also getting at is that being specific in prayer is very important for healing it seems. Another example is to not just ask to be mentally healed(a general statement) but to pray that God heal specific issues mentally and it has a direct effect that seems to alleviate the suffering much more.
It’s like having a broken finger and seeking healing generally. But it seems better to pray to God for healing of the broken finger specifically and would enact much more of a specific healing response for what the actual problem is.
Any further ideas?
