Being unemployed for over a year now in my field since graduation, why hasn't God provided yet?

If you’re interested in any sort of defense industry work, military experience is a good way to go for that too. Most of their customers are military so they are always interested in people who are ex-military and will present well in front of the customer.

If I may ask one more question:

How do/will I know if I am meant to become a Military Officer, or if I should keep waiting to get my engineering job? How will God let me know?

I would think you would first need to speak to a recruiter. Then, weigh your options, pray on it, and see what you think.
