Please pray. What was once considered horrifying and deeply, morally wrong is now met with shrugs and a “right to die” attitude, even towards those whose free will is likely compromised by their psychiatric illness. There are psychiatrists in Belgium who are euthanizing and offering to euthanize *twenty and thirty year old * mental patients.

Without God, anything goes and there are no guideposts other than cultural fashion and the waywardness of our desires and caprices.

Sounds very strange. If they are mentally ill, don’t they have competency tests? Wanting to die might bring ones judgement into question…

This is terrible. I know if someone I knew wanted to be euthanized, I would try to talk them out of it. Maybe what they really need is someone to really love them and care.

Dear Lord, please burn away such wicked ideas and help those who are vulnerable.
