Why is He that which no greater can be conceived?
Because if there is something greater than what your conception is, then that something is God.
But you must realise that you are not giving a reason. You are simply repeating the first statement in another way. It’s the old schoolyard taunt: ‘I know the biggest number ever. It’s one more than you can imagine’, and whatever your friend says, you say: ‘Yeah, plus one. I win’. It’s not an argument by any stretch of the imagination. Even if someone says; ‘Well MY god is greater than that which can be conceived’, the answer is: ‘Nah nah, that’s MY god you’re thinking of’.

Surely there has to be better than that.

And unless I missed it, in which case excuse me, but did we get an answer to this (on what evidence you have that Hinduism is false)?
Well, you know the next question. And a supplementary one…surely umpteen millions of Hindus who have studied their religion for many years can’t be wrong.

And to be honest, if you had been born in Kolcatta it would be close to a certainty that you would have been a Hindu and found the evidence compelling.

But you must realise that you are not giving a reason.
But I *am *giving a reason.

Think concept here. Conceptually, if you have some sort of being that is lacking in something, then you can conceive of an entity that isn’t lacking on that something, right?

So, take this conceptually to the infinite level.

That, then, is God.

Anything else simply ain’t God. 🤷

Well, firstly, again, on a conceptual level multiple gods can’t work.

If there are even 2 gods, then the 1 god who ISN’T the other god is lacking something–he isn’t that other god.

So with a multitude of gods that just falls apart rather quickly.
