Believing in Christ

Hello guys
I’m struggling with believing in the Lord. I’ve made other threads about it which I look back too every once in awhile but one of the posters said
“Jesus has been proven real by ____” I can’t recall who it was and I’ve been trying to find the post for like an hour now and I can’t seem to find it.

But has Jesus’s existence been proven by somebody? I’d really love to read about it and what not.

There was a historian back then (first or second century, I can’t remember) by the name of Josephus (not sure of spelling), who wrote that there had been a man by the name of Jesus who had been crucified. I don’t think he went into detail about it, just mentioned it. Also, there were 500 people who saw him after his resserection. They would have passed this down.

That is, I’m sorry to say, about all the help I can give you on this. I hope someone can give you a better answer.

Read Lee Strobel’s book The Case for Christ. He is a journalist and a former atheist who came to Christ through investigating the evidence himself. You will probably be able to find it in your local library.

And then there is the Shroud. Perhaps not “real” evidence, but it certainly points in that direction.
