III: The Revelation which, from time immemorial,…

The Revelation which, from time immemorial, hath been acclaimed as the Purpose and Promise of all the Prophets of God, and the most cherished Desire of His Messengers, hath now, by virtue of the pervasive Will of the Almighty and at His irresistible bidding, been revealed unto men. The advent of such a Revelation hath been heralded in all the sacred Scriptures. Behold how, notwithstanding such an announcement, mankind hath strayed from its path and shut out itself from its glory.
Say: O ye lovers of the One true God! Strive, that ye may truly recognize and know Him, and observe befittingly His precepts. This is a Revelation, under 6 which, if a man shed for its sake one drop of blood, myriads of oceans will be his recompense. Take heed, O friends, that ye forfeit not so inestimable a benefit, or disregard its transcendent station. Consider the multitude of lives that have been, and are still being, sacrificed in a world deluded by a mere phantom which the vain imaginations of its peoples have conceived. Render thanks unto God, inasmuch as ye have attained unto your heart’s Desire, and been united to Him Who is the Promise of all nations. Guard ye, with the aid of the one true God—exalted be His glory—the integrity of the station which ye have attained, and cleave to that which shall promote His Cause. He, verily, enjoineth on you what is right and conducive to the exaltation of man’s station. Glorified be the All-Merciful, the Revealer of this wondrous Tablet.

This is too vague and General, no details on anything, look at the details when he speaks to St. Bridget… coming up next.

I am your Creator and Redeemer. Why did you fear and doubt My words? Why did you wonder whether they came from a good or an evil spirit? Tell Me, what have you found in My words that your conscience did not tell you to do? Or have I ever commanded you anything against reason?
Code:
The bride answered: 'No, all You told me was completely true and reasonable and I was badly mistaken.'

The Bridegroom, Jesus, answered her:

"I showed you three things from which you could recognize the good spirit: I invited you to honor your God, who made you and gave you all the good things you have; your reason also tells you to honor him above all things. I further invited you to keep the true faith, that is, to believe that nothing has been created without God nor may be made without God. I also invited you to love reasonable work and continence in all things, for the world was created for man's sake, in order that he may use it according to his reasonable needs, and not in excess.

In the same way, you may also recognize the unclean spirit, the devil, from three opposing things: He tempts and advises you to seek and desire your own praise, and to be proud of the things given you. He also tempts you into unbelief and intemperance in all your limbs and in all things, and makes your heart inflamed by them. Sometimes he also deceives men under the guise of a good spirit. This is why I commanded you to always examine your conscience and reveal it to spiritual men of wisdom!

Therefore, do not doubt that the good spirit of God is with you when you desire nothing but God and are completely inflamed by Him! Only I can do this, and it is impossible for the devil to come near you then. He also cannot come near to any evil man unless I allow it, either because of his sins, or some secret judgment that is known only to Me. For he is My creature like all other things - he was created good by Me, but made himself evil by his own malice - therefore, I am Lord over him.

Therefore, those who accuse Me do so falsely when they say that those who serve Me with great and godly devotion are insane and possessed by the devil. They consider Me to be like a man who gives his chaste and trusting wife over to adultery. Such a one should I be, if I allowed a righteous and God-loving man to be handed over to the devil! But because I am faithful, the devil will never rule over the soul of any man who devoutly serves Me. Although My friends sometimes seem to be insane or senseless, it is not because the devil is tormenting them, or because they serve Me with fervent and godly devotion. It is rather because of some defect or weakness in the brain, or some other hidden reason, which serves to humble them. It may also happen, sometimes, that the devil receives power from Me over the bodies of good men for the sake of their future reward, or that he darkens their consciences. But he can never rule the souls of those who have faith in me and who love Me.[dailycatholic.org/bridget4.htm](http://www.dailycatholic.org/bridget4.htm)

You see, this is what the difference is dear friend. I could write a 50,000 word essay on the wealth of knowledge found in this paragraph. Pretty much all Bahai kids, by the age of 15, could do likewise.

The sun is staring at you, but you prefer to look at the moon 🙂

It is your choice to explore these things with your local Bahai community or not. There is no obligation to become a Bahai if you decide to explore what I am talking about.

🙂

Funny, not one word about the Devil or Hell, I need to know Baha’u’llah’s teaching on Satan, can we start with that, because it is very very important right ?

In other words, what a bunch of dull minded twits the rest of us are. It must be wonderful to be so enlightened. I couldn’t even find the revelation of which he suppose to be speaking:

“The Revelation which, from time immemorial, hath been acclaimed as the Purpose and Promise of all the Prophets of God, and the most cherished Desire of His Messengers, hath now, by virtue of the pervasive Will of the Almighty and at His irresistible bidding, been revealed unto men.”

Okay. Since I am as dull minded as the rest, what is the revelation of which he speaks?

I just went through Baha’u’llah website, word for word, and I did hear about how Great he says he is , but absolutely no mention of the word… Devil or Satan.:hmmm:

PS I now see where you get the name Servant19 from, you are the Servant of Baha’u’llah right, thats the age 19 when you started to be his Servant ?

SteveVH - Sorry dear friend that this came across to you this way, as you and all mankind are in no way “dull minded twits”. We are all different in our own ways that is all.

The Revelation talked about in this passage is the one Promised in all past Religions, from the ancient up to Muhammad.

There is a promise in all of them about the Great and Glorious day of the Lord, it is written or remembered in may ways, the Bible as you know has may passages as does the Koran.

Thus all past Messengers Longed for this Day, They had All, One and All, Witnessed this day , Christ Longed for this Day, as did Moses, Muhammad, Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha and many many more who have given previous Revelations to Mankind.

This the Day where God spoke directly to man through Baha’u’llah “The Glory of God”, “The Father”

Thus from that One passage you posted above, one can now go back to the Holy books of the Past, look at Prophesy and be amazed as to the amount of meaning that can be obtained from each passage, and as Servant said, it would be a very large Essay.

But Dear friend, I must admit I would be to Dull Minded to attempt that task! 😊

God Bless and Regards Tony
