He never did this you error my friend. Peter is the rock that spread the word of Jesus and upon his spreading the word christianity was born. Jesus Church is all christianity.

So Jesus told the Baptists not to baptise infants while he told others to? Jesus told the EO and Catholics that there were seven sacraments and told others other numbers? I can go on.

Jesus founded one Church. Any others are man-made and not 100% from him. It would help if you learned the History of Christianity.

I do Pray that the cloud of confusion be removed from you so that you may know the differance between magic and God working of a miricule through a Saint. I realize that it at times is difficult for us humans to do, such as the case with St Joan of Arc. to when one actively seeks a cource in the occult and magic it does make it much easier to spot which is which.

You are making it confusing for yourself. Please step away from all these add ons that lead to all this confusement. Focus on Jesus Christ and your church, the Catholic Church. The one thing that I will credit the Catholic Church is that things are pretty straight forward. Joining the Catholic Church is probably the best decision you have made, so follow through with it. Clear all this other junk out of your head and out of your house.

Ephesians 5:10 says, "Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it. "

If you were Episcopalian, I would tell you to pull out your Book of Common Prayer and turn to the section on your Baptism/Confirmation. I believe that the CC baptism/confirmation are pretty close in wording to my church so here goes…

Please recall the following questions and answers…a few questions that I pulled from the BCP.

Question Do you renounce Satan and all the spiritual forces
of wickedness that rebel against God?
Answer I renounce them.

Question Do you renounce the evil powers of this world
which corrupt and destroy the creatures of God?
Answer I renounce them.

Question Do you renounce all sinful desires that draw you
from the love of God?
Answer I renounce them.

Question Do you turn to Jesus Christ and accept him as your
Savior?
Answer I do.

Question Do you put your whole trust in his grace and love?
Answer I do.

Question Do you promise to follow and obey him as your
Lord?
Answer I do.

We the “church” have an obligation as well…

Will you who witness these vows do all in your
power to support these persons in their life in Christ?

The above is the starting point…Have you ever heard the phrase “Kiss” or “Keep it simple stupid”? God loves us and we are called to follow him…don’t add junk where there is God. The Baby was Jesus–not magic but our Savior.

Fantastic! Now, please set-up a time to visit with your priest. He can’t be your Spiritual Father if he doesn’t know that you are having problems and are confused. He does not want to loose one of his sheep! He is there to help you on your Christ-Centered Spiritual Journey. Get yourself in the church and that doesn’t just mean being a pew warmer. I would also recommend if your church has an Adult Sunday School–Join in! You need to surround yourself with other believers. Think of a recovering drug addict–does he hang out with his old friends? No, he finds new healthy friends that will encourage him to stay clean. Honestly, your best bet might be in repeating your RCIA Class. Your parish priest needs to be made aware that the RCIA class might not be meeting the needs of the group. His attention to the program is needed or he needs to bring someone new into running the class. What you have been engaging in is not in the Catholic Church teaching. I pray that you will find the fullness of your faith in the CC. The Holy Spirit led you there–don’t forget that! Yes, our faith is a journey but it is so much easier if the road is straight without debris that we throw down ourselves in the road to make us stumble. Honey, think of being pulled over on a random DUI traffic stop being sober or drunk…Which way will you pass go? When you are walking your faith, you want to be straight arrow with a clear head. This stuff is honestly limiting your personal relationship and growth with Jesus Christ…We all stumble on our faith walks, I will not lie and I know that I have fallen short. God’s Grace is freely given to us, all we have to do is ask.

Already on it. I see Catholic worship as the epitome of high magic.

That lucet thing–get rid of it! Clear the path for the Lord! Why not put a picture of your Savior Jesus Christ there to remind you of Him and to let others know that you are serious about your Catholic Faith. Like a sticky note to keep you on the right path.

But I am serious. Is there anything preventing a catholic from also being apart of other denomination church services? No of course not!

That’s not true. Some of the most ancient canons of the Church forbid praying with heretics.

“Let any clergyman or layman who enters a synagogue of Jews, or of heretics, to pray be both deposed and excommunicated.” Apostolic Canon 65.

The reason for this is twofold. First it’s for the protection of the faithful. The words of heretics are often fair and sound plausible and have the potential to deceive and second, it’s for the good of the heretics themselves because it denies them the legitimacy that they so desire and as a result may prompt them to reconcile with the Church.
