Benedict medal blessing

I asked our priest to bless some Benedict medal items I have and he did a general blessing and not the exorcism blessing. There were other people getting things blessed at the same time so I didn’t feel I should say anything. Should I take my items to another priest and ask for the exorcism blessing on them?
 
Do you know where the items came from people answers might be different with this information?
 
St Benedict medals require a specific blessing. Any Catholic priest can do the blessing but there is a particular form of words/ prayer that should be used.
 
I got a necklace and door hanging from Catholic.com and a crucifix from a Catholic bookstore. I think the website said they weren’t previously blessed but I don’t know about the crucifix from the bookstore.

I’m not sure if you should get them ‘re-blessed’ because they’ve already been blessed. Sort of anyway. I might be wrong though.
 
I would ask your pastor for the specific blessing for St. Benedict medals. It doesn’t hurt ask. I’d try calling him and setting up a time to do it. Instead of after or before mass time if you can.
 
If you purchased them, they were not blessed. Any blessing they may have had is removed when an item is sold for profit.
 
Generally, traditional forms of blessings for objects are better than the new ones.

Mine came from Rome - with the Pope’s blessing -
Paid some bucks for it 😇 but worth it !

In my opinion if a priest does a general blessing of items, I don’t think Our Father in heaven will reject the blessing.

But if you truly want the exorcism blessing, perhaps make it easy for a priest by printing it and having a copy for the priest to use. Approaching a priest after Mass while he is standing near a holy water font is a great time to ask 😎
