^^^ Jesus asks us to take up the Cross that God the Father has given us … and not the one of our own making.

This is the error that most people have concerning the Cross which we are to carry.

And that is why we should never beseech any specific cross, because more often than not we really have absolutely no idea what our own Cross to bear actually is.

So once again, listen then to Jesus and simply ask for God’s Will to be done (which will include the Cross that God the Father sends us, and none other).

Hope that explains it a little better …

I don’t know why you told us all of your crosses,

**I haven’t told you any of my crosses, as you call them. I have told who ever reads my thread a little about some experiences, and they are very few of how Jesus calls some servents to bear crosses. I mentioned the experiences only to enlighten others who are wondering why this happens, and to reflect on the fact that some are called to take up a cross this way, not to be different, but to fill in the different flowers in God’s garden. **

but I have found that the offering to Jesus is much greater when we do not share out crosses with others except confiding to a Priest as this is the same as sharing to Christ Himself.

I** hope you see that there is no glory in this earth for any one, the glory if a person allows the spirit to lead goes ALL to Jesus.**

The bearing silently of the cross is very difficult, but for those who can do it they should do it because their offering is more intimately united to the cross of Christ

These gifts I have been given are taken silently not even My wife knows most of them. Not only are they something not talked about but they are only to be shared for God’s glory, when He tells me to or I believe He is glorified. There is nothing for the servent. All glory goes to the Master. I have not shared with you any crosses. That would be impossile, I can only share the experiences in the human sence.
It does not matter if I should or should not be understood. No the work has been done and Jesus has His glory. Amen

Fireman Frank… I have NOT ellected to take up any cross that Jesus has not chosen to be glorified by a servent allowing Jesus to give him/her a cross for HIS Glory alone. How could a person say they are christian, when they elect to suffer without Jesus guidance, as is the practise in some sects, by some people. It would be needless intentions. Jesus tells us that those relating this way have all ready been praised so they will not be blessed by our Father in Heaven. It would be without Jesus as the centre, useless and mindless. We wait on the Lord to govern and guide how His intentions should be fulfilled, for His glory alone.

Sorry to take people of track here.
God bless

^^^ Telling someone about one’s own experience with crosses is entirely different from asking God to intentionally send us His crosses.

Do you see what I mean?

Additionally, look at the saints.

They asked for things like healings and for souls to be converted, but that’s it. They left how that was to be accomplished up to God.

Also, I have noticed your tone has significantly changed since our last discourse (for the worse, unfortunately).😦

Believing that Satan has now entered into this discussion by way of working into certain people’s spiritual pride (I have observed that this seems to occur with some regularity on this Forum), I shall deny the evil one his treacherous actions and am now formally ending my participation in this thread.

Please think about what I had said, as what I have stated involves nothing else but Catholic Tradition.

(I mention “Catholic Tradition”, as I do not know your faith background and am not sure if you are Catholic, a Christian of another denomination, or possibly something else.)

PEACE OUT

I need to know something for myself please.
I am a very devout Catholic married to a wonderful Catholic woman. We play music in the church and help others in and out of the church often.
I love being a Catholic and follow Jesus and the Saints fervantly.

I am only a simple person and often get mixed up, but I do know that when I ask Jesus to give me a cross it is not without prayer. It is not without Jesus guiding me and at times He askes if I realy mean it. It is though with Jesus firstly passing the thought on my mind ans it is so strong that I am unable to refuse Jesus. I can’t say no to Jesus I give my heart to Him and that means that even though I don’t really understand some of what I have offered to Jesus I want to be His completly.
Than means what ever He decides is how it will be. I know this, that Jesus once told me that He goes ahead of me to prepare the way when He gives me anything or askes anything of me, He gives me no more than I can take and He is there if I should wish to speak to him. This is a love I do not control, and I asked Jesus why He gave it to me. He said that He could find no other person more retched, had He then He would have given it to them.

It is so simple to put a foot wrong, and also for a person who does not have a certain gift that another person does have, to think that the person with the certain gift has got it all wrong. this could cloud the thoughts of the person who is using certain gifts, putting doubt on their mind, causing the person using a certain gift to re think and not follow the foot steps Jesus wishes, if confusion gets in the way oof discernment.

Remember Job and how his friends gave him all kinds of problems and in all of this Job stuck with God. They thought that it was because he had done wrong that this misfortune had come upon him.

Here then is my question. Since we all have different gifts, if a person dose not have a gift another has, is it possible or even usual to think that the person holding a certain gift of God who speakes out to have gone astray?

Please I need to know where I am standing. I would not do anything that was self oppinionated, but I will be available to Jesus 24/7

Thank you 'Godbless

Maybe what I need to know is what is “Catholic tradition” against what I have shared, Please. I read and read and imitate them, or follow the footsteps of Jesus words and actions, the lives of the Saints and Jesus and thought that I was on the right road.
Please.

Thank you.
