I’m not real sure who “Leroy Jenkins” or “Don Stewart” are…but I have some “evangelical” older friends who love Benny Hinn’s ministry and support it.
His theology I believe is similar to Joel Olestene(SP)…“name it and claim it”…
He is quite theatrical in his ministry and draws huge crowds of people wanting to be healed.

Benedict Hinn was Baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church by the Patriarch of Jerusalem whom he was named after. He grew up in Israel, in the City of Jaffa-Joppa, whom his father was Mayor. He was Raised and educated in Catholic Schools by Nuns and Monks and actually considered himself a Catholic during that time. He grew up surrounded by Jews and Arabs in his home city of Jaffa which in arabic means Beautiful. His Mom was Armenian and his father Greek. He moved to America with his Family when he was a teenager , where he became a Protestant even though his family protested. When in College he had a Religious Experience attending a Healing Service and this changed his life forever . He began to spend 8 hours a day in his room alone praying and conversing with the Holy Spirit and reading his Bible.
Benny Hinn slowly felt he needed to start preaching despite a speech impediment ,which he was healed off when he spoke at his first large audience.and this lead him on the Journey of where he is today.
He leads Healing and Preaching Crusades all over the Country.

He is also under investigation by the United States Senate Committee on Finance. Hinn may have made some personal profit from financial donations. He is not the only one under investigation. The list includes Paula White, Kenneth Copeland, Eddie L. Long, Joyce Meyer, and Creflo Dollar. The investigation, for Hinn at least, seems to be going well. Benny is in full cooperation and giving all the information he can.

There is something of great interest to me here. Someone of the non-Catholic group, please see if you have an answer for me. I love this singer, not a Catholic singer, but nevertheless, a very holy man, who has changed my life. I am Catholic, will always be so, but I don’t know if anything has ever touched me as this man’s music. His name is Terry MacAlmon, who recently stepped down from his evangelical ministry, but I only listened to his music and it actually helped me to pray. This man was very gifted and had a huge following in the Pentecostal and evangelical circles. I guess I’m just a square peg that found him and I can’t stop listening to his holy music.
My question is this. I heard he got his start with Benny Hinn years ago. Can anyone tell me anything about Terry MacAlmon. It seems he’s disappeared off the face of the earth since he was attacked spiritually by Satan and had an affair outside of his marriage. Since then he’s disappeared and not one word has leaked out about his whereabouts. I have all of his cd’s and if he made more, I’d buy those too. this music in no conflicts with my Catholic beliefs or walk with Christ. If anything, I’ve felt I was blessed by his music.
If anyone knows anything about Terry MacAlmon please let me know. I’ve never heard one hint of scandal about him, not once, other then when he himself confessed and then stepped down from being a minister and no one has seen him since. I think maybe he left the country.

Thank you so much for this information and I have to say I’m really shocked, but this does not reflect on Terry MacAlmon because this minister Terry is a very holy man and it’s well known. I never knew one thing about this Benny Hinn, and I’m very sure that Terry MacAlmon, once he learned of the type of character this man was, must have run for the hills from him.
I think it was many years ago that he started out with him when Terry was very young. I’d heard this Benny Hinn’s name mentioned in various places but never knew one thing about him and he sounds like a very evil man. May God have mercy on him and for a pastor to be as crooked and dishonest as he seems to be, is an abomination. I doubt Terry MacAlmon would have had any dealings with this man other then in his early beginnings.
I was wondering more about what happened to Terry. Not one single source of information has appeared any place about him and I guess it won’t. Somehow he seems to be having some kind of divine protection and I can fully believe that. He’s a very holy man and not your usual evangelical and pentecostal minister types. This one shines like a bright star. His holiness is very evident.

On Dateline Interview, Benny Hinn was questioned about another donation campaign. Benny Hinn raised $25 million dollars to build an orphange in S. California.Benny Hinn never built the Orphange and ended all plans to build it. When questioned on Dateline, Benny Hinn smiled and said, "The Lord told me not to build the orphange. God will reveal new plans."Benny Hinn refuses to account for the $25 Million or say where the $$$$ is. His Faithful Flock doesn’t seem to care. TOUCH NOT GOD’S ANOINTED Many blinded Christians defend Benny Hinn’s exploits with, “Touch Not God’s Anointed”. They take this from the O.T. text where David wrote, “I will not kill King Saul because he is God’s Anointed”.The problem with this defense is that Saul was anointed King of Israel, not a TV Preacher. Second, exposing the Lies and Wickedness of Benny Hinn is not an attenpt to kill him, but to save others from his deception and possibly their own lives.Benny Hinn seems to believe this madness because at his crusades he warns people, “Touch not God’s Anointed. If you try to interfere with My Ministry, God will strike you dead. Not just you but your children, your children too.”
