Believe I have been watching Benny for about 20 years. Did you read what I said in the early post.DO YOU KNOW ANY THING ABOUT BENNY…Are what you are saying your opinion.He has not been put in jain because his people think he is a god and can do no harm. 60 mins prove him as a crook,He got 25 million to build something I cant remember right now(I can look it up if you care), amd he got the money and said god told him not to build and then keep the money,thats a crook. YOU CAN tell any thing about the Church if it is true. But most of what YOU say about the Church has been wrong. Have a nice night. DO YOU SEND MONEY TO MR HINN ?

Phantasm I understand that Benny Hinn has not been convicted of anything, but again that does not mean he hasn’t or isn’t doing something wrong. It seems fair to say we shouldn’t judge, and that is commendable, but we also must protect ourselves from wolves in sheeps clothings. And my point in all this, is that I do not trust Benny Hinn nor do I think others should. Is it wrong to forewarn others?

P.S. I agree we should not speculate, only known facts should be stated.

Now,your post is a great example in how to reasonably and maturely discuss your distrust of Benny Hinn.

You have expressed genuine concern about his ministry and expressed how you feel about his ministry. You have not delved into throwing around slanderous terms such as fraud, crook, scam artist, phony etc.

You will never hear him speak of suffering as a path to holiness.

As faithful Catholics come to terms with disease and death, they grow closer to the Lord. I have watched a pentecostal pastor’s wife and a whole congregation put false hope in a miraculous healing from Benny Hinn when the wife was in end stages of cancer. She had to pretend to expect a miracle, and was not able to spend that time making peace with God, joining her sufferings with Christ’s suffering on the cross, and working through end of life issues with her family and congregation. She didn’t get the miracle they wanted, the only option they gave God; and the whole congregation was upset over it. I wouldn’t be surprised if some lost their faith over it…hopefully some have converted to the True Faith over it, but I don’t know. (I did)

No one knows exactly what salary evangelist Benny Hinn pays himself annually from his ministry’s funds, but a decade ago he stated it was more than $500,000.

Since then sources say Hinn has apparently quadrupled his take to somewhere around $2 million per annum.

Estimates have placed the annual gross contributions made to Benny Hinn’s ministry at about $200 million.

I believe that is what the others were trying to say, but in more colorful terms. 😃

You must understand Phantasm, that we get passionate about how we feel when we sense and know that someone is not trustworthy, especially if it entails a “someone” making millions of dollars for preaching God’s Word and then living lavishly.
 
AGAIN, whay are people so busy talking and discussing about other person? CAN YOU PLEASE REVIEW THE BIBLE? We are too busy talking about others, are we sure enough we are better than them?..Is it not good to PAUSE and look at ouselves first?

As I said to Phantasm, I distrust the man, and would feel duty-bound to forewarn others. You yourself are aware that many false teachers and/or wolves in sheeps clothing abound. Would you stand by and let such a one, lead others into being manipulated?

Yes we are bound to WARN but it would be better to PRAY for the man FIRST and then when we are sure that we are in the position to ACCUSE then it is good enough.

Who says I can’t pray and forewarn at the same time? And I do pray for my enemies, I wish no one an eternity in Hell. God bless.
