Would love to get some Apologetic Audio CD’s for listening to while in car, working out, etc. Would appreciate any (name removed by moderator)ut onto ones would recommend or not recommend.

Thanks!

Have you checked out the resources right here at Catholic Answers? Not a bad place to begin if you ask me! 🙂

For nuts and bolts apologetics go to biblechristiansociety.com and download all of John Martignoni’s various apologetics talks. They are in mp3 format which you can burn to CD either in mp3 or you can convert them if need be.

I also highly recommend Tim Staples 6 cd set on Mary, and agree with the first responder that CA is a great place to start for a variety of materials.

Try the Mary Foundation ( catholicity.com/cds/ ) - these are free (I think they ask for at least $1 per CD if you order online). I highly recommend all of these, especially the conversion of Scott Hahn and the story of Fr John Corapi if you have not heard those.

Also, check out Lighthouse Catholic Media (google it). There are $3 CD’s on this website. I recommend “The Bible Made Me Do It” by Tim Staples. Anything by Tim Staples is awesome. Also, you can get on EBay and search Catholic Audo CD’s and sometimes you’ll find some good ones.

Another GREAT resource is Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio with Crossroads Initiative. I had the pleasure of going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with him - talk about knowledgeable. His website is www.crossroadsinitiative.com and I have several recommendations - “Why Be Catholic?” and “Pathway to Prayer” are a couple of my favorites, but ANY of his audios are REALLY worth getting. He’s very entertaining. Also, he has CD’s on Early Church Fathers with little 5-10 minute talks on the Fathers of the Church that I have found immensely interesting.

Hope this helps!!

Some CD players can handle MP3 CDs nowadays so you can make your own – even if you don’t a simple program can burn your own for an older CD player, or if you have an IPOD you’re already there. 🙂

Try the audio MP3 talks linked below. 🙂 They’re great!

I recommend the other links above.

Also for free CDs in the mail, try Catholicity.com. Great talks there, including ones by Father Corapi and Scott Hahn. :o
