Why not use zombies as an example? Hypothetically of course. You say we could. So that’s a human (dna etc) but has no mind. Hypothetically. So we could kill it.

Or a non sentient alien. Hypothetically. Which will have a mind. Hypothetically. But could we kill that? Hypothetically?

Or a human that has had his brain replaced by a computer. Or a dragon with a human brain. Or an intelligent insect. Where do we stop?

If you want to head down imaginary avenues then you can make up any scenario to support your position.

I would say that determining any of these would be valuable. However, we have a very specific, detailed idea of exactly what an angel is and how they work, which you cannot say for your other examples. Just a note, as exemplified by countless children’s books, I would consider an intelligent insect a person. I have yet to see one though. If you really want an analysis of the rest, I could give one.

You’re the one who wants to bring in dragons and intelligent insects into the discussion. As a matter of fact, this illustrates my point. I was told that they exist. One either totaly ignores what one is told or one makes a decision on the veracity of the information given.
