Best Bible commentary for Traditional Catholics

What is the best commentary for a Traditional Catholic? I want it to be orthodox in teaching, but I do enjoy some of the old-style feel of the earlier commentaries. I’ve been using George Leo Haydock’s commentary online, and that is good, but is this outdated? I’ve heard the Navarre Bible is a good more recent one, but I can’t spend hundreds of dollars on a Bible commentary when I can get Haydock’s on Kindle for $1.99

Which of these two is better, and are there any other good ones?

I use Haydock and I also have the Ignatius Study Bible NT. I also use the catechism. It has an index of scripture and where they are referenced.

Also, bibliaclerus.org/index_eng.html
is great because it cross references to the writings/dogma/Fathers of the Church.

There are many good single book commentaries. Right now, I’m going through a commentary on John by Alfred McBride called The Divine Presence of Jesus

I use the Haydock. I think it’s awesome.

The New Jerome Biblical Commentary.

I consult Haydock a lot, but also others. I’ll consult a vast array of things. I don’t rely on one single commentary.

Haydock is great, but he doesn’t address everything and even if he did, we can’t rely on the commentary of one man-- even if he is largely referencing the Saints.
