Hi,
I know a lady, a Lutheran, who has extremely horrible depression and I was trying to explain to her about offering it up and redemptive suffering. I see this as a possible evangelization type opportunity and I wanted to get her a book to possibly help her learn about redemptive suffering and maybe peek her interest in Catholicism.

One of the best things I have read on redemptive suffering is John Paul II’s apostolic letter “On the Meaning of Human Suffering” (Salvifici Doloris).

I have read almost all the recommend books on suffering suggested thus far. I have shared the book below with many people who suffer daily and who have suffered long…all have found great consolation in this book. Consider it ~ please.
