Best books by Fulton Sheen? need help

Hi

Can anyone recommend their TOP FAVORITE book by Fulton Sheen? I don’t know much about him, but I hear he was a wonderful man. I want to read something by him that will help me grow in my faith. I know he has several books, so please tell me your favorite.

I know you said books but have you thought about listening to his tapes? He made a series called “Life is Worth Living” that is absolutely wonderful. I just love listening to him. The tapes abundantly exude his love of the Lord and it is very contagious! Peace be to you.
 
“from the angel’s blackboard” is a very good but brief anthology of sheen writings.
 
The Seven Last Words of our Lord. Not sure if this is the exact title. It isn’t too heavy reading compared to some of his work. But still wonderful insights and meditations.

Take it from someone who grew up watching him… he was indeed a great man… a holy man, a man for all people and ages… i have several of his books… one of my favorite is his book on angles…

do yourself a favor… you can get vhs tapes of his tv shows for almost nothing… it would be the best money you can spend… most of his show are rerun on EWTN…

oh, by the way, I’m a UK fan also… go big blue…
 
I have a collection of his writings…“Your Life is Worth Living”. Another good one which I bought for my cousin in Iraq was “A Soldier’s Prayer Book”
 
I’ve got Treasure In Clay…the Autobiography of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen which is excellent. Any book or tapes on him are worth reading. Yes, I remember him on TV too when I was young. I wish we had him here now to speak up against immorality, etc. But then…we have someone like him! Fr. Benedict Groeschel and Fr. Corapi 👍 👍

I just finished “Lift Up Your Heart!” It’s a great book and I’d highly recommend it!
