Best books for starting apologetics

[Moredred]

Hey guys, Im looking for some good apologetics books. From books covering the defense of the bible to philosophical arguments for the belief in God (Like Aquinas stuff). Any suggestions? Preferably something I can get on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble .

Im taking a philosophy of religion class next semester so I would like to have abetter understanding of my religion and how to defend it before learning of others!

thanks in advance!

The bible and the catechism of the catholic church. To many fledgling apologetics can only recite what they have read of the apologetics, and too many apologetics peddle books they have written.

The Beginning Apologetics Set is a good place to begin. The series gives great, straigthforward talking points for most of the big questions that come up from various places.

Besides the other recommendations… Tim Staples’ Nuts and Bolts was one of my first apologetics read - good basics, easy to read. For philosophical stuff, I’d go with Kreeft and Tacelli’s Handbook of Catholic Apologetics.

Any of the Joyce Meyer books on enjoying everyday life.
