Best books on Fatima?

I want to read about the apparitions at Fatima. What are the best, most reliable books on the subject?
 
The Children of Fatima by Leo Magigan

Also the DVD “The 13th Day” is very good.
 
The Walsh book is excellent. Of course, you can’t go wrong with. Sister Lucia’s own account, “Fatima in Lucia’s Own words”. The enook is offered for free on several sites, unfortunately, none of which I know offhand. But the you can probably find it easily by finding googling the title. The book is on amazon, but is quite expensive there. Either way, it is a good, dependable read.
 
William Thomas Walsh’s book published in the 1940’s is excellent. I think TAN used to publish it. I’m sure you can find in on Amazon.

Anything by John Haffert is excellent too.

“The True Story Of Fatima” by Fr. John de Marchi can be read online here: fatimacrusader.com/truestory/truestorytoc.asp It is excellent and very detailed.
Father de Marchi spent hours and days researching for this book on location. He spoke at length to many witnesses including Ti Marto, the father of Jacinta and Francisco, as well as with Maria Carreira, one of the most important witnesses who first came to the Cova da Iria for the apparition of June 13, 1917. Most of the witnesses he interviewed are now dead. This book is a classic of Fatima literature. Over three million copies have been printed in English alone since it was first written.

Not referring to the quality of the book itself, but just be cautious about the website. That organization and magazine are not in any way connected to the Catholic Church. They are totally independent, in fact in disagreement with the pope and many bishops.

This does not necessarily mean every resource they distribute is questionable, but just warning you about the organization, and webite for Fatima Crusader.

Hi Lormar,

The Blue Army is now known as the World Apostolate of Fatima. They have a site online and perhaps there is a number that can be called fur further information about books.

I have heard many good things about the the Walsh book published in the 40s.

I remember being warned about The Fatima Crusader because the priest that started it was disobedient to the Church. I agree with commenter,…be cautious about the website.
