Best books on the historicity of the New Testament and of Jesus

I know I am asking two questions here but I was wondering

1. What is your suggestion for the best book on the historicity of Jesus, something that goes beyond the normal stuff but explores sources and is detailed
2. What is your suggestion for a book that goes into the early New Testament manuscripts and their history and again something that is detailed
