We should flag with precision, so that the moderator can easily understand what the problem is without having to wade through the whole thread. I imagine the moderator has to work harder when the flags say the Original Post is off-topic, inappropriate, or spam when it is not.

Flag away. I don’t think this thread is particularly contentious.

You can choose other and add a message.

There is no way to flag threads.

There is, actually. Topic Controls drop-down menu at the bottom of the page. There are three options: Bookmark, Share, and Flag.

It is possible, however, that flagging a thread manifests itself visually as a flag on the first post. I don’t know.
