See the title.
Yeah.I liked Peter and the Last Supper (on NETFLIX)
Hmm. Hard one.See the title.
The actor who portrayed St. Peter in The Passion of the Christ. Can’t wait for some others to chime in.
I’ll say the easiest one first.
The Passion of the Christ had a great depiction.
The movie is called St. Peter, and it can be purchased through Ignatius Press. It is definitely a worth-while watch! It is a fantastic and moving portrayal of St. Peter!Omar Sharif-he did an Italian miniseries on St. Peter the Apostle and I think he nailed it completely (no really bad pun intended).
In fact, when I think of St. Peter…Omar Sharif and his performance always pops to mind now!!
Darwin Shaw and Adam Levy are in my top ten.Hmm. Hard one.
I liked Darren Morfitt’s Peter in BBC’s 2008 The Passion, but then again I’m just so biased towards that production as a whole. I also sort of liked Brian Blessed’s Peter in Dennis Potter’s Son of Man, but then again, this is Brian Blessed we’re talking about so I’m still biased.
Oh yeah, also Finlay Currie’s Peter in Quo Vadis.
Yep. The reluctant leader.Omar Sharif-he did an Italian miniseries on St. Peter the Apostle and I think he nailed it completely (no really bad pun intended).

From “The Bible” and “AD: The Bible Continues”.Darwin Shaw and Adam Levy are in my top ten.![]()

The scientist guy from 2012. Well I hope Andrew is also black. Also starring Rooney Mara as Mary Magdalene and Joaquin Phoenix(!!!) as Jesus.
“What are you staring at?”I liked his portrayal in Franco Zeffirelli’s Jesus of Nazareth.![]()
It reminds me of Color of the Cross, where for some reason, Jesus (and His family) is black, Judas is black, Mary Magdalene is black, but Peter and everyone else is white.I always imagined Simon Peter as black.![]()
In the second one Peter was black. It reminds me of Color of the Cross, where for some reason, Jesus (and His family) is black, Judas is black, Mary Magdalene is black, but Peter and everyone else is white.![]()
And Judas apparently became white. What the heck happened? In the second one Peter was black.
I got ticked of because of the “brothers of Jesus” thing/And Judas apparently became white. What the heck happened?
Admittedly, I never really liked the movie. Not because Jesus et al. were black (that was fine), not even because it attempts to introduce somewhat modern-day race issues to the 1st century (it’s a bit in-your-face so it gets kind of annoying after a while, but we can let that slide), but just IMHO it’s not very well-made. It sort of feels like those heavy-handed low-budget ‘Christian’ films (I think it sort of is).
Finlay Currie?I also liked “Quo Vadis”
