So, after a long discernment, I realized I want to teach high school theology. I’m looking for recommendations for good graduate programs. So far I’m definitely considering Franciscan. Any other recommendations?

Thanks and God Bless,

I’ve heard The University of Dallas highly recommended in this field of study.

I just finished the MA at Ave Maria University. If you want to know more, PM me.

We have several Stubenvillers (and TAC’ers) in our PhD program.

God bless!

The University of Notre Dame has a program specifically for younger people wanting to enter Church ministry called ECHO. The students are assigned to parishes throught the year where they work in the area of catechesis and then in the summers they do their graduate work in theology and catechesis. In two years they graduate with the MA in theology and two years worth of teaching experience. Not sure if they teach in high schools during this process but they certainly would be qualified to do so when they graduate. They receive a stipend and live in small groups in the areas where they work during the school year and I believe receive spiriitual formation as well.
