They performed in concert at my cathedral a few years back and it was awesome. The music which was composed for HMC during the Spanish Colonial Period in Latin America is on a par with anything composed in Europe at the same time but is far less well known.
In the above listed album, a manuscript was discovered in Mexico which had musical notations for Aztec instruments as well as motets in Nahuat - the language of the Aztecs.
