Best news magazines

What are your favorite news magazines that are closest to church teaching?

[Victor2211]

I currently subscribe to “Catholic Answers Magazine” and “First Things.” “Catholic Answers Magazine” is my favorite as it is written by the staff at Catholic Answers and is 100% true to Catholic teaching. I am new to “First Things.” So far, I have found some of the articles to be interesting, although they sometimes incorporate protestant viewpoints. Patrick Coffin spoke highly about “First Things” and had the editor (R.R. Reno) on the radio show recently.

Thanks for your reply I love Catholic Answers

If you were looking for a very good news magazine that is not necessarily Catholic but doesn’t publish anything against the Church would be “New American”. This is a biweekly magazine and the articles which are about political news and analysis are very good. It is not a religious magazine but they have a number of pro-Christian articles.

Thank you for this suggestion I was looking for both Catholic and secular magazines.

I will give this suggestion a try.

Do you know anything about The American Conservative?
I heard that it has Catholic authors who contribute to it.

I don’t know to much about The American Conservative but New American would definately be in the same line, A very conservative/constitutionalists news magazine.
