Best resources for a Baptist pondering Catholicism?

I’m interested in what everyone in forum land thinks are the best resources for non-Catholics to learn about Catholicism. Thorough (technical) is good. I would be especially appreciative of former Protestants who could offer me some helpful resources they used to help them.

Also, would a Roman Missal be useful (which one)? Thanks.
