Best songs for a Catholic wedding slideshow? Themes: Childhood, growing up

I am hoping this will be a fun topic. I am putting together a video montage for my son’s upcoming wedding. This will be shown at the reception, not during the Mass. I am putting together a soundtrack for the video and want to find some great songs that are appropriate for the occasion. From looking at the pictures I will be using, I think the best route is songs about childhood, but I don’t want anything about kids doing stuff kids shouldn’t be doing. Examples I have so far are “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and “Forever Young” by Bob Dylan.

For a wedding I don’t think you could go wrong with Gordon Lightfoot’s Beautiful.
He and Bob Dylan are very good friends, by the way.

Find something in the public domain or where you know the artist.
 
If you’re thinking about copyright, the use of the OP is covered by Fair Use- They’re not the profiting from this.

Did anyone else know this??? I was completely surprised! Once I found out, I guess it makes sense. You must have legal license to use copyrighted music..even for wedding

It’s not a wedding video - based on the OP it seems like a compilation of home videos and photos
 
That’s right – I am putting a video of childhood picks for my son and his fiance’s wedding reception. No one is getting paid for this. From looking at the Reddit thread, there is a good chance the video could get pulled if someone were to post it to YouTube or somewhere, but otherwise we should be okay. Also, I won’t be using entire songs – what I like to do is take portions of songs and mix them into a medley.
 
At the reception: Theme to Godfather, wind beneath my wings. sesame street, Figaro and Don Giovanni
