I read that book straight through on our house’s sleeping porch one summer night during a thunderstorm. I didn’t sleep well for a week afterwards. Not the world’s best fiction for sure, but it scared the curl out of my hair when I was 12.😛

When I first read it, I would not look at mirrors for quite awhile, lest I see REDRUM in the mirror and hear the banging sound. I was pretty young when I read it though. 😃
