Baronius Press sells a bible with the Douay-Rheims translation on one side and Latin Vulgate on the other. If you have the money for it, I’d go for it (it’s like $80). But in terms of general translations in English, I’d recommend the Douay-Rheims or RSV-2CE.
I’d love to get a copy myself, but I can’t justify the expense when I honestly don’t really read Scripture all that often.
At our local FSSP parish, the priest uses the RSV-CE and RSV-2CE. When he does Bible study, he only allows people to read from the RSV-CE or RSV-2CE. And I know he perfers the RSV-2CE.
Ideally yes, but I’ve just never taken to it. I pray the Liturgy of the Hours, and do spiritual reading, but I rarely read Scripture from the Bible unless I need to see the exact wording of something being referenced.
I suggest you purchase “The Bible in a Year” from the Augustine Institute. It uses the RSV-2CE translation and is rearranged so you can do select readings from the NT, OT and Wisdom Books each day.rfournier103:

Thank you for the suggestion, but the issue isn’t a lack of time. The best way I can word it is a lack of interest, but even then that’s a poor way to phrase it.
