Dear Lord I ask You to grant eternal life to this baby and healing to the parents.
To lose a child is unbearable pain and I ask You would surround this family with
love and confidence that their child is safe in heaven.Amen

Lord, whose ways are beyond understanding,
listen to the prayers of your faithful people:
that those weighed down by grief
at the loss of this [little] child
may we find reassurance in your infinite goodness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
