Beyond Depression

I am sorry I have not responded to many prayer
requests. I have been to depressed to pray.
I called my Psychiatrist yesterday and he is going
to add a thyroid medication to my already high dose
of antidepressant.
I have Schiotypal Personality Disorder.
DHS has ruined my life. My beloved wife is in an
open mental facility and my son is in foster care.
This started out as situational depression but now
it is chemical. My wife is discharged to home by her
doctor but that would put my son in danger** of loosing
visitation with me.
To make matters worse I have some how lost some medication.
It comes in a planner box once a week and I dropped it outside
Monday and noticed this morning that pills are missing.
Pray the doctor doesn’t take my meds away or hospitalize me
I know this ramble makes little sense.

May the Lord keep you in the embrace of His bosom. Bless that you may be healed and be carried through the tough times that you are facing.

With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.

You are in my prayers, Dan. May the Holy Angels guide and protect you, and may the Blessed Virgin Mary wrap around you her mantle of purity and love. Amen.

Dan, I am praying you.

Hear us, O God, Our Saviour, as we honor St. Dymphna, patron of those afflicted with mental and emotional illness. Help us to be inspired by her example and comforted by her merciful help. Amen.

I will include your intentions in my daily Rosary later today.

As someone that suffers from despressive episodes from time to time, my heart goes out to you Dan.

May God lift you. In coming here you are praying. Even a simple Amen is a prayer.

Sometimes when praying over friends I’ve used imagary. I’ve imagines Jesus standing with me, with his own hands laying on the person praying with me.

…Will you do that for yourself, as I will do that for you?..

…Amen…
