Did the makers of the BHS (Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia) somehow used the Dead Sea Scrolls, Qumran texts, and the Aleppo Codex?

No. The BHS is an edited transcription of the Leningrad Codex, which is the oldest complete Hebrew Bible in existence. There are some notes that refer to variants in other sources, but it’s far what one would think of as a critical edition of the Bible–as would be the case with the New Testament, for example.

There are currently no critical editions of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, although there are several in the works.
