Hello everyone! I have come up with yet another question that google was unable to sufficiently answer for me (or rather raised even more questions I would say). I hope I posted this in the right forum, as I wasnt sure if to post this in Liturgy or Eastern Catholicism.
My questions basically are:
My questions basically are:
- Can Deacon even assist at liturgy of different rite? If so, does he need permission of his Bishop or/and Bishop of said rite? Does he wear vestments of his rite as with Priests / Bishops or does he wear vestments of rite of liturgy he is assisting at?
- Is deacon in normal circumstances assigned to a parish as Priest is? Can Deacon leave parish without prior consent of Bishop? (perhaps I understand this wrong in case of Priests too)
My questions mostly consider said Deacon to be permanent Deacon, perhaps even married (for the second question mostly).
