In both the new and old testament, the bible says homosexuality is a sin. I’ve also heard that it’s sinful because people were created to be heterosexual, and that’s the ideal family for a child with both gender roles to learn from and look up to. However, I’ve also heard that people who are gay aren’t purposefully getting those feelings, and that homosexual families can be good too. Why is homosexuality considered a sin, and why shouldn’t homosexual couples be married?

It is not a sin if they just love each other. It becomes a sin when they have sex as it is against the creation of life.

A sexual orientation is not a sin.

A willing sexual act that is closed to life and against the will of God is a sin.

Homosexuality was considered an act, not a feeling or an orientation in antiquity. In fact, “homosexual” is a neologism of the 19th Century. Old school bibles like the KJV and DR won’t use the term.

It is an abomination to God.

God instituted marriage between a man and a woman not two people of the same sex.

The ACTS are sinful. The people are much beloved men and women of God.

God made them male and female.
For this reason a man shall leave his mother and cling to his wife, and the two shall become one body.
Genesis. This is God’s creation and plan–male and female, one man and one woman in marriage.

Theory:: Gayness is a birth defect in the area of human sexuality.
Gayness, however, involves moral concerns, unlike say Autism
Our DNA is fragile & needs protection from injurious forces.
Birth defects are evil, but not sinful. Sins of the World are the preceding cause of ALL evil. Can gayness be cured ? Maybe, since with God everything good is possible

A legal agreement, but not marriage status ?? Too late, they won
