First of all, it’s proper to capitalize “Gospel.” Show some respect for the Word of Christ. Secondly, the Gospel that the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church uses is the same Gospel all Christians. Does it not consist of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? Have you ever been to a Catholic Mass? Have you ever picked up a Catholic translation of the Bible? Have you seen for yourself what you’re talking about? In science there are what’s called primary sources and secondary sources. A secondary source, as you would imagine is information gathered second hand. Maybe you should get out there and do some first hand research yourself.
Before you go off saying that “the Gospel that Rome teaches isn’t Christian,” you should attend Mass and pay attention when the Gospel is read. I don’t think it will sound different to you. I’ve been to Protestant services, and THEIR Gospel sounded the same to me. And if you’re going to say something about Catholic translations, I’d caution you that there are at least a dozen Protestant translations floationg around out there.
“May the Lord be on my mind, on my lips, and in my heart.”
