Bible confusion

There are different translations of the Bible. Is that what you’re asking?
 
Lest you forget, the reason the Vulgate was translated from the original tongues, was because Latin was the lingua Franca. At the time.
 
Because language constantly changes. An example would be the word “worship”, a little bit over a hundred years ago in the United States, if someone said a Catholic Worships Saints, the Catholic would not be offended, however this word has largely replaced the word adoration in the US , so modern Bibles tend to reflect that fact.

Aramaic, Greek, Latin - and the List goes on and on. .
 
There are different Bibles because translation is not a word-for-word process, and words often have multiple meanings or shadings. Additionally, there are different approaches to translation which may hinge on different ways of saying the same thing.
