The selection in the Augustine Institute volume for this day includes: Genesis 15-17, Psalm 27, and Matthew 20 (or portions thereof).
The selection from Genesis describes the murmuring of the people, when having left the slavery of Egypt, they arrive in the wilderness where they are lacking in food and water. Instead of crying out to God for help, they blame Moses and Aaron.
Makes me aware of all the complaining and grumbling that I have done in my life, instead of abandoning myself to God’s Fatherly care.
