Hi,

I’m Roman Catholic myself but while I was googling nutrition and the diet of the Inuit which is often promoted by low carb gurus, I discovered this website: biblelife.org/

I totally disagree with a lot of things on their website. Some things written there are pretty extreme. What exactly is Bible Life?
Does anybody know anything about this Christian organization?

I have not. I read the site. Some form of protestantism, but I cannot place what their base denomination is. It bothers me that I cannot find any kind of credentials listed on here for them as dietary nutritionists or ministers.

I’m actually against low carb/high protein diets. Not only do I think that they are bad for your health long term but I can’t believe that BREAD of all foods is bad for me as a Catholic.

John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the *bread of life. He who comes to me will never be hungry. He who believes in me will never need a drink.

Jesus didn’t declare he is the “protein shake of life”😃

But what actually bothers me about that Bible Life website is the way they talk about President Obama. They don’t have to agree with his politics but calling him the “son of Satan” and saying “He is destined to spend eternity in Hell” is really hard to swallow.
I find that really disturbing.

You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone, someday wants to use wheat bread for the Eucharist! Who knows with some people. I guess either way it’s still pretty healthy.👍

Wheat bread is fine. Anything else is not. No rye, no pumpernickel, no rice…
