Some are some are not. In more recent times both protestant and Catholic translators sometimes work together. Thus a protestant version which excludes the Apocrypha and a Catoliv Version. There may also be differences inn the footnotes.

Jesus’ words in John 6 would seem to indicate that, under normal circumstances, the worthy reception of the Eucharist is required for salvation. It seems that, under normal circumstances, to voluntarily not receive the Eucharist would be a rejection of Jesus and his terms for salvation.

Canon Law requires Catholics, under normal circumstances, to worthily receive the Eucharist at least once a year during the Easter season, popularly called our Easter duty. This is a serious matter and so to knowingly and willfully neglect this duty would be a mortal sin for a Catholic.

I don’t understand how anyone can receive the Eucharist involuntarily? Does someone twist their arm behind their back and march them up to the priest to receive??
