Is there anywhere that has downloadable MP3 files of scripture that I could burn to CD? Would like to listen in my car on drives.

Librivox does: what they have is the KJV and some OT books from the Douay Rheims, as well as the entire NT from the DR. Unfortunately, the DR NT is done by the hour instead of by books, but the price is right (free)!
Part of the problem is that whatever is done for free usually has to be a pre-1923 translation to avoid cooyright infringements.
