Gee yours was a lot different than mine! Mine preferred pouring rather heavy handed cocktails to her buddies from her bar in the basement and provided lots of her famous appetizers. Different technique, same end results though.🙂
What works best works!!!😃

My Grandmother, who passed away many years ago…was a truly wonderful woman…one of my best friends… was a devout Catholic who never failed to find the best in everybody, and was a truly gentle soul. She lived her faith strongly and set an example for all of us. My Grandfather who passed away soon after her, was a Methodist who was an excellent man and a great person. He made sure that my mother and their other 4 children were raised Catholic…and on every Sunday and Feast Day as well as Holy Days took my Grandmother to Church and waited there for her. As far as I know he never converted, but then again… I can not remember him ever saying a single thing of a disparaging nature. He was a great example of father and a man to be emulated. Interestingly…the only “drinks” I ever saw in their house was my Grandmothers “grape wine”…a bottle would last a year or more, and my Grandfather’s doctor prescribed “spiritus fermenti” for his blood pressure… I cringe to think how much he paid the pharmacy for 4 ounces of “Jack Daniels”!! 😃

My point…not sure, but I can say this…I was compelled to mention my Grandparents…they were great and loving people who lived a good and Christian life…and led by example, not by word or condemnations or recriminations.

I do believe we all have something to share, and we all are God’s children…

I am not sure if any of you have seen it, but many times I have posted that if the only way you can have a relationship with Christ is to be a {insert denomination here}, then by all means be a good {insert denomination here}. I just want to be sure you understand why I can never be a {insert denomination here} and why I am a Catholic instead of a {insert denomination here}.

Now, I have caught holy hell about this attitude from some Catholics on here. I do not hold that anyone is a heretics, save the heretical. I cannot say whose soul is in jeopardy. I will not try to unless given reason to say. If a Satanist asked, I would tell him. If a Baptist asked, i am not sure.
