I also have the NAB Catholic Study Bible (1990 Oxford) with good Reading Guide articles and extensive footnotes. This translation is weak, I think, although I’ve read that it has been revised and reprinted c2011, although I’ve heard there are additional changes now used in the Mass which have not yet been published for public availability. Hopefully someone else can comment further on this.
Also, I have the Ignatius CSB–New Testament 2010 adapted from NSV. This has good introductions and notes, but no Reading Guide or discussion suggestions.
I suggest you check your parish or Diocese for the Discussion Guides that many publish for small group discussion, I like Quest by the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT which provides weekly readings from the Mass Liturgy, and discussion questions. These can be order by phone and web. Our Small Church Communities have used these for many years.
If marriage issues are your particular focus, perhaps the Marriage Encounter progam and newsletters would be helpful.
I also have a protestant Guideposts Home Bible Study and the 3-year Search the Scriptures by Intervarsity Press, and both are well-done, but I suggest Quest and encourage you to consider joining a Small Church Community.
