We’ll start the Bible Picture Quiz thread here.

The mechanics are:
  1. I’ll post a picture from a passage of the Bible and you’ll guess which passage it came from (include the actual passage on your answer).
  2. After 10 posters or so have posted, the question is closed. Just try to answer the next one.

The sketch is a little hard to see…if that’s a woman, I’d say it’s when God puts enmity between her and the devil.
 
My eyes have seen the glory which you have prepared for your people Israel. Luke, Simeon at the Presentation, Lord, now let your servant depart in peace. it think there is another picture but I only see part of it indistinctly.

I’m talking about the preceding picture.

I’ll give a clue to where you can find this passage:

This picture is taken from a Prophetic book of the OT.

The Protagonist of the book was fed by the Prophet Habakkuk (who was brought by an angel by the hair) when he was put in a den.

Jesus quoted this prophet once and used a title the prophet used in this book.
 
It helps now that I can see it. You have the Ancient of Days in the throne with the wheels. He is giving dominion to one like a Son of Man, I’d say.

That could mean the place in Daniel 7. Oh, okay, I’ll look it up…7:13-14

Unfortunately I’m not either God nor a mod so I couldn’t do that (though are there people here who wouldn’t want 1000 posts added to their post count?) 😃

A bit easy, so I’ll just bump the thread for someone else to answer. The verse is in the book of Numbers…

You know, if I follow my nose to the fishy street, I could collect Aaron’s Rod to deal with this situation…

This is when the Israelites were all getting bitten by the saraph/fiery serpants so Moses had a serpant raised up on a pole so that if they looked upon it, they would be healed, which is a foreshadow of Christ being lifted up. So, actually, I could refer to the NT as well as the OT to answer. But I’ll go with Numbers 21:

6 In punishment the LORD sent among the people saraph serpents, which bit the people so that many of them died.
7 Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned in complaining against the LORD and you. Pray the LORD to take the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people,
8 and the LORD said to Moses, “Make a saraph and mount it on a pole, and if anyone who has been bitten looks at it, he will recover.”
9 Moses accordingly made a bronze serpent and mounted it on a pole, and whenever anyone who had been bitten by a serpent looked at the bronze serpent, he recovered.

Cool. You know, you live on an island, so if you put your pictures in the jar and then some disaster happened, well, 2000 years later someone could open the jar and see them and be converted. You’d be like your namesake and another island.

Okay, yeah. I’m crazy. 😃
 
Revelation 10:
