O lawd, seraphime2008…that picture…

Here I was, eating at Panera, surfing the internet on my laptop, and I just had to come to this thread… 😊 😛

Yeah - I was having my coffee and breakfast this morning when I saw that post & pic … 😛

The worst part was it was up for quite a while, because I was stunned and was thinking to myself, “…wait, is that what I think it is?”

:rotfl::rotfl:

I’m glad she did it first so I didn’t have to! 😃 Although the one I would have posted wasn’t quite as graphic in the directional flow department. 😛

(I wasn’t sure if elwill was serious in his question or not. - given the grin smiley face, I was thinking not.)

BTW, how did the topic “Bible, Quran, Beauties Beyond Comparison” degenerate to such depictions anyway. 😃

Oh if I remember correctly and I’m not going back to read the posts, it was elwill who posted about sperm… etc… etc… as a beauty… etc…

But I could be wrong… so far, no muslim has been able to answer the OP.

Did the OP have a question? It seemed to me he just wanted someone to contribute expressions or sayings from the Qur’an that have become cultural touchstones in modern Arabic. From what I understand there are many.

I may have started it with pointing out the scientific error in the Quran. 😊 - not realizing of course that we would need diagrams and such.

Sorry, everyone! :o

Sorry…terribly sorry everyone!
I didn’t intend to disgust people with that picture though that could be the effect. All I wanna do was to tell muslims exactly the particular place that Allah has revealed as somewhere between the back and front…there it is…

Anyway, I could be considered worthy for stoning because of that pic…:D:p

:o

And to say that ejaculation that makes the the fertilization of embryo was so …ignorant…to say the least:p Have u heard the in vitro fertilization? It only needs the ovum and the sperm, nothing else! Oh…I forget, ur Koran hadn’t seen this invention yet!
what is the relation between the words of quran and the vitro fertilization ?
Ok…I made a wrong statement in blue letters above…apologize for that. Anyway the glands that produce other seminal fluid I think can be seen in this picture, hopefully it’s regarded as scientific picture, not a dirty one:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/centralnc/images/Central North Carolina/after.jpg
anyway this is a picture stating that to make a vasectomy, one just need to block the
tube from the testicles which produce the sperm. So technically saying that the ejaculation makes the fertilization is wrong. As I said before, in vitro fertilization only proofs that what is needed for fertilization is the sperm and the egg.
you can block the tube from testical , may be . but where is the wrong i said ?
please quote from my words what you think to be wrong ?
And by looking at those picture, the location of the other sexual glands to create the other part of the semen is just very-very close to the testicles, it;s not strecthing to other places as just “inside” the body. My sweat also comes from inside my body!
allow me please to requote what i said exactly

It is a phrase in Arabic that is similar to the English phrase, “somewhere between the front and the back”

It would mean that the semen springs from “somewhere between the front and the back” of the body. In other words, somewhere from inside the body!

**If one was to insist upon the literal meaning, one would still find that the Quran is 100% correct literally, too. The seminal vesicles are anterior to the sacrum and coccyx (lower back, loin) and the ribs are anterior to the seminal vesicles.

If one was to draw a line from the tip of the coccyx, to the upper portion of the seminal vesicle _ either one of the two_ and extend the line forward it will catch the ribcage.**
The seminal vesicles from which the semen spurts out during coitus, lies between the ribs and the coccyx!

what about discussing the bold statement which you ignored , becuse actually i’m not talking about the phrase understanding , i’m talking about the scientific understanding which will made us insist upon the literial meaning

please understand this scientific fact then read the verse again and show me the errors in quran

seminal vesicle
Each seminal vesicle looks like a little wrinkled sausage about 5cm (2") long. Inside there is a coiled tube. Their function is to produce seminal fluid, which is produced continually. Since they never cease their production, the seminal vesicles keep filling up after each ejaculation, and as they fill they swell. The swelling is accompanied by elongation, just as a coiled garden hose tends to stretch out when filled with water. The seminal vesicles cannot release any of the seminal fluid other than by ejaculation.

quran said
So let man consider from what he is created
He is created from a gushing fluid
That issued from between the loins and ribs

it’s very clear that quan talking about the gushing fluid which produced from some place exist between loins and ribs
the question here will be , is the seminal vesicle in between the loins and ribs ?
the answer is yes
If one was to draw a line from the tip of the coccyx, to the upper portion of the seminal vesicle _ either one of the two_ and extend the line forward it will catch the ribcage.

so agin where is the erros in this verse ?

what is the relation between the words of quran and the vitro fertilization ?
Ehm…elwill…sorry actually I don’t have any entrhusiasm anymore to discuss or perhaps more likely to argue with u, since u don’t nor perhaps able to see the matter. I was referring to u saying that the semen was produced in that “grey” area between back and front of the body and u keep insisting that those semen is the ultimate necessary fluid to fertilize, not the sperm, when in fact it is the sperm which is made in the testicle or precisely the gonad in it, that make the fertilization possible. U can take away all those other part of the semen but the sperm to make fertilization in an in vitro fertilization, and science has proofed that it’s possible to have this fertilization grow into embryo and later human being.
you can block the tube from testical , may be . but where is the wrong i said ?
please quote from my words what you think to be wrong ?
That u said it’s the ejaculation or the fluid of the ejaculation that makes fertilization.
That u proudly said the fluid made in that “grey area” is responsible for fertilization, when in fact that fluid doens’t necessarily contain sperm.
allow me please to requote what i said exactly

Ok…when I said to my doctor that my lower body was aching, would he refer to a place “somewhere between ur chest and ur thigh”…🤷 or something more precise such as my stomach, or my intestine or my colon, or whatever more accurate . Phlease…this is what is called “stretching”

Anyway…whatever ! I’m taking this as a joke only…I’m not going to strecth it anymore 🙂

you miunderstood the context , that’s why i always prefer that you quote my words when you object
anyway , what i said that the verses of quran are talking about the gushing fluid and not the sperm , and i said that sperm is about 2 to 5 % from the fluid
when in fact it is the sperm which is made in the testicle or precisely the gonad in it, that make the fertilization possible. U can take away all those other part of the semen but the sperm to make fertilization in an in vitro fertilization, and science has proofed that it’s possible to have this fertilization grow into embryo and later human being .
i know that it is fact that sperm which made in the testical is very necessary fertilization
That u said it’s the ejaculation or the fluid of the ejaculation that makes fertilization.
That u proudly said the fluid made in that “grey area” is responsible for fertilization, when in fact that fluid doens’t necessarily contain sperm.
i will quote for you what i said

Sperm alone cannot even move very well. They need energy to swim to the egg and penetrate it.
That is provided by fructose, a sugar produced by the seminal vesicles.
Prostaglandin hormones are needed to suppress an immune response by the female against the foreign semen.
Zinc is needed to stabilize the DNA of the sperms.
Metal and salt ions are needed to make the pH of the vaginal cavity favorable for the sperm to survive.
Lipids, steroid hormones, enzymes, basic amines, and amino acids are also needed to perform vital functions.

The ejaculated fluid has all that is needed, including the sperms (2-5% sperms, 95-98% other ingredients).
Ok…when I said to my doctor that my lower body was aching, would he refer to a place “somewhere between ur chest and ur thigh”…🤷 or something more precise such as my stomach, or my intestine or my colon, or whatever more accurate . Phlease…this is what is called “stretching”

i don’t want form you to stretch anything , i just want from you to show me the errors
all your objections is about that God inform us the place of the source and not the name of the source , is that the entire objections about the quran you have !

Just a question: were words like colon, intestines, etc used in the 7th century?

wasalam
